Established in Italy in 1916, Zanussi is a household name when it comes to home appliances but you might not be aware that its range of products also extends to boilers.
The company designs and manufactures a small range of gas combi and system boilers.
All of its boiler models are ErP A rated and come with a standard warranty of 2 years, however there is the option for this to be extended up to 10 years if you sign up to Zanussi’s annual service agreement.
Zanussi combi boilers
Combi boilers are ideally suited to modern homes as they are compact, highly efficient and can deliver hot water on demand. Unlike regular and system boilers, combi boilers don’t need a water storage tank and/or a cylinder to supply or store water which frees up valuable space inside your property.
The Zanussi Ultra Combi is available in two output sizes: 30kW and 35kW. The boiler is fitted with boiler first protection, a built in easy to use filling loop and has a fully modulating operation to reduce wear and tear on the system.
Zanussi system boilers
Although combi boilers have lots of advantages, one major drawback is that they struggle to meet high demand for hot water. If you live in a house with more than one bathroom or are constantly using multiple outlets, a combi boiler won’t be able to supply water to all of your taps, showers or baths at once.
In contrast, a system boiler stores water in a cylinder and can deliver it to several outlets at the same time.
The Zanussi Ultra System boiler is available in four output sizes that range from 15kW to 30.3kW. This boiler model is fully modulating and has boiler first protection to stop your boiler from freezing in cold weather.
