The majority of homes in the UK are kept warm by gas boilers but electric boilers are becoming an increasingly popular option. They are typically smaller, easier to install and cheaper to buy compared to gas boilers.
Electric boilers can also be better for the environment as they don’t generate any waste gases and can be powered by solar or wind energy.
ELNUR combi boilers
The ELNUR Mattira combi boiler is available in a range of sizes from 3kW to 15kW. Electric boilers are a lot smaller in terms of output compared to gas boilers as they are more expensive to run.
When calculating what size of electric boiler you need, we recommend allocating 1.5kW per radiator in your home. As an example, if you have 6 radiators a minimum of a 9kW electric boiler will be needed to power them all.
The Mattira is a wall-mounted digital modulating boiler fitted with silent TRIAC power switches, integral expansion vessels, pump and AAV and a digital display with user adjustable controls.

It is fitted with a digital display, circulating pump, silent TRIAC switches, auto air vent and heating flow detector.
The unit comes with a 2 year warranty on the boiler parts and controls and a 5 year warranty on the cylinder.
