Ravenheat HE80 25kw combi boiler review
Ravenheat, a boiler manufacturer, was founded in 1987. It has its head office, R&D, and training facilities in Leeds. Our manufacturing operations are located in Verona, Italy. This allows us to have full control over designing and producing our products. We are able to produce reliable boilers at low costs with a production capacity of around 80,000 units per year. High efficiency is also something we are experts at. We developed our first condensing stoves in 1996, long before they were required in the UK.
What features does the HE80 25kw have?
Ravenheat OpenTherm boiler package is used to complete the process. This software allows for more precise control from the room thermostat to operate the boiler’s gas valve and central heating pump. This allows for the exact gas input to be set according to the demand signal. If the house is one degree warmer, the control will tell the boiler to start at a lower power. The boiler can operate in condensing mode, which is more efficient, by reducing the flow temperature as low as possible.
We are not only successful in the UK but we also see an increase in demand across Europe for our products as consumers and installers search for cheaper ways to improve their efficiency.

Why choose the Ravenheat HE80 combi boiler?
All boilers are built to strict ISO 9001 standards and use quality components. Before each appliance leaves our factory, it is carefully packed to ensure maximum protection. HE80 Combination boiler: 25 kW to domestic water (DHW), output. DHW flow rate 10.2 litres at 35°C rise. The HE80 combination boiler features a high-resolution LCD screen with backlit LCD.
It also has customer-friendly buttons that make it easy to operate in low light conditions. This allows the user to set the heating and hot-water temperatures, the central heating times, and see the system pressure.

What is opentherm?
OpenTherm (Compatible Room Stat Required) OpenTherm boilers allow for more precise control from the room thermostat to boiler’s software, which modifies the gas valves and central heating pumps. This allows for the exact gas input to be adjusted to the demand signal. If the house is one degree warmer, the control will tell the boiler to start at a lower power. The boiler can operate in condensing mode, which is more efficient, by reducing the flow temperature to 50degC. Even with the best controls, the boiler will continue to run at full power and consume significantly more electricity (gas and electric), increasing homeowners’ energy bills. Our HE80 boiler only applies the heat, which is a substantial saving. All this is automated by the boiler’s controls.
What flue options are there with the Ravenheat HE80?
Flue options The HE80 can have a 100mm standard (concentric), a 125mm or twin (eccentric), flue ducts. These can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, depending on the customer’s requirements. An individual one-metre standard horizontal flue kit can be purchased. This can be extended up to 8 meters if necessary, or up to 13 metres vertically (maximum with no bends). These flue arrangements will meet most needs, but there are other options (Twin and 125mm). For all options and lengths of flues, consult the installation manual.
