Boiler Central Help
If your boiler has stopped working there are very common problems that you may be able to sort yourself quickly rather than wait for an engineer to arrive for a simple fix.
Check your pressure gauge – You may just need to top up the boiler pressure (Video guides below)
If it is freezing outside – Check to see if the error code relates to a frozen condensate pipe (guides below)
You may also see an error or fault code which you can check our guides, or directly from our common fault guides:

Common quick fixes you can do yourself
here are the most common easy fixes to get your boiler back up and running:
Frozen Condensate Pipe
This can be fixed by defrosting the condensate pipe with warm water. In freezing temperatures the wastewater can freeze. You can also insulate your pipe to stop this from happening again. Here are some guides to help:

Low Boiler Pressure
As temperatures drop, pressure in your boiler can too. You can top up or repressurise your own boiler yourself by using the filling loop to let more water in. Check the pressure gauge and it should be between 1.5 bar and 2 bar. There is often a green area to identify where the needle should be.
